Douglas A. Papa

Douglas joined Global Tax Management, Inc. (GTM) in 2001. As a director in the firm’s Pittsburgh area office, he provides comprehensive tax services with a heavy focus on exceptional client service. Douglas works with clients in a range of industries including manufacturing, oil and gas utility, electric utility and professional service.
Throughout his career, Douglas has worked hard to provide clients with timely and high quality service. He has helped multiple companies save millions of dollars through various tax planning strategies, including federal and state tax minimization and tax credit analysis. In addition, Douglas has developed comprehensive models for efficient computation of tax related items.
Douglas has extensive experience in the tax and accounting fields, most recently serving as tax manager for former “Big Five” accounting firm, Arthur Andersen LLP. He began his professional career in 1994, serving as a staff accountant at Hinds, Lind, Miller & Co.
Douglas attributes his success to hard work and a “client service first” attitude. He understands clients look to him for advice with issues that are critical to the growth and success of their organizations. As a result, Douglas maintains a constant focus on finding the right answers and solutions for each client’s unique needs.
Douglas was raised in West Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and now resides in Wexford with his wife and son. Outside of the office, he enjoys playing golf.
